The Expectationless Now
I remember the first time I ever had a songwriting session in Nashville. It was with an artist I was familiar with – even had a CD of. I wasn’t sure how to co-write, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I knew that no matter what happened at the session, it would pay dividends later in terms of experience, reputation and contacts. It wasn’t a moment, it was a stepping stone.
